Why Jingmommy
Professional
Delicious
Jingmommy is a 100% self-operated central kitchen postpartum meal delivery service. Unlike typical home kitchens, a government-licensed central kitchen must undergo unannounced high-standard health inspections by the health department and follow a rigorous food-handling monitoring process — serving as the first line of defense for moms. The central kitchen also represents Jingmommy’s commitment to quality: only a self-operated central kitchen can stand behind its meals and protect clients’ interests.
Some operators claim to have a central kitchen but never open it for visits (only showing photos), because it is actually another restaurant’s kitchen — not their own. These so-called “central kitchens” cook postpartum meals in the morning and run other businesses the rest of the time. These operators cannot provide product liability insurance (they don’t have a restaurant license), and even if they have general business insurance, it does not guarantee the quality, hygiene, or safety of the food. Worse still, this is not legal — health regulations require that a kitchen facility be operated by only one business and cannot be shared.

The central kitchen also represents Jingmommy’s commitment to culinary professionalism. We are willing to invest in owning our own central kitchen rather than settling for rented space or outsourcing production. Jingmommy’s central kitchen is the only one in Los Angeles that welcomes visits and open tastings — all of which reflects our strict quality standards and commitment to protecting our clients.
Certified Team:

All of Jingmommy’s meals are carefully planned by Nicole, America’s postpartum expert (U.S. Food Handler license), and prepared daily by U.S.-licensed chefs who start cooking every morning. All food-handling staff have passed exams and training to obtain their U.S. Food Handler certification. This is a completely different level from those who copy Jingmommy’s recipes and hire aunties to cook (yet call themselves Taiwanese postpartum chefs).
GMP Herbal Medicine:

In pursuit of excellence and to provide the highest standard of service and quality for moms in America, Jingmommy formed a strategic alliance with a local U.S. pharmaceutical company to develop 30 days of premium postpartum herbal remedies. The pharmaceutical partner is not only a Chinese herbal medicine company with many years of experience, but also operates right here in the United States. Beyond its long history, the U.S. manufacturer complies with cGMP pharmaceutical processes and holds multiple patented pharmaceutical machines whose technology is unparalleled worldwide.
Jingmommy and its U.S. pharmaceutical partner insist that all herbal remedies be made from carefully selected all-natural, pure ingredients with no additives of any kind. All herbal preparations are freshly manufactured using modern professional pharmaceutical equipment in the United States. High-quality, safe ingredients, rigorous standardized production processes, and a reasonable price — all for moms going through confinement in America.
The 30-day “Jingmommy Premium Postpartum Herbal Remedies” developed with the U.S. pharmaceutical team consist of 15 herbal formulas, with a new formula every two days to help moms nourish blood, replenish qi, eliminate dampness, dissolve stasis, and detoxify. Following traditional Chinese medicine principles, the treatment progresses systematically — from mild tonification, to warming nourishment, to intensive replenishment — building a solid foundation before fortifying qi and blood. Since the herbal remedies are produced in the United States, freshness and quality are guaranteed. Both Jingmommy and the pharmaceutical partner are U.S.-based companies, and all products carry $1 million in liability insurance — moms can use them with complete peace of mind.
Nutritionally Balanced Meals

Jingmommy designs both lunch and dinner with a “nutritionally balanced” approach — offering diverse dishes at both meals so moms can absorb a fuller range of nutrients and nourish their bodies more comprehensively. Lunch features nourishing fish soup with selected postpartum stewed vegetables; dinner includes sesame oil postpartum soup and staged postpartum tonic broth. Since new mothers have exhausted their energy and qi during childbirth, their bodies are in a state of “deficiency and stasis,” making proper nourishment essential for recovery.
Today’s nutritional challenge is not insufficient intake, but imbalanced intake. Postpartum moms should seize this opportunity to nourish qi and blood properly — using a low-oil, low-salt approach and balanced intake of all six major nutrients. Jingmommy’s meals are not only abundant and filling, but also nutritionally balanced!
Quality & Variety

Postpartum recovery is not about indiscriminate heavy supplementation — it should be healthy, efficient, and well-timed. Jingmommy follows Dr. Chuang Shu-Chi’s phased postpartum theory from Taiwan, preparing meals that progress from mild tonification, to warming nourishment, to intensive replenishment.
Jingmommy uses Jingmommy postpartum water, Taiwan red-label rice wine, fully bloomed old ginger, and pure sesame/black sesame oil — no MSG added, preserving the natural fresh flavors of every ingredient. With a wide variety of carefully selected ingredients, we cook fresh sea bass soup daily (multiple flavors), over 30 types of dinner tonic broths, paired with 20 kinds of desserts and 8 varieties of rice dishes — healthy, delicious, and never boring. Jingmommy is also the only service in the United States providing 4 vegetable servings daily with every postpartum meal, ensuring moms receive the most complete nutrition for the highest quality breast milk.
Localized Flavors

Jingmommy has years of postpartum meal delivery experience in America, and we understand moms’ tastes and preferences. We adjust meal content and refine flavor intensity based on feedback from our clients — arriving at flavors that most moms now love. Our biggest source of new clients is word of mouth from existing moms, and the main reason is simple: the food tastes great!
Events
Mommy Workshop:

Jingmommy regularly hosts “Mommy Workshop” seminars covering topics such as “Making the Most of the Golden 30 Days — How to Do Confinement Right” and newborn care taught by labor and delivery nurses, or specialized content led by professional medical teams on prenatal and postnatal topics. The Mommy Workshop covers correct postpartum concepts, belly wrapping techniques, what to expect in the delivery room, breastfeeding skills, newborn care, and postpartum body recovery to help you regain your figure. The Jingmommy team also has specialists available to answer questions about baby insurance, education funds, and cord blood banking — addressing all your prenatal and postnatal questions.
Tasting Party:

The Tasting Party is like a postpartum meal buffet — all you can eat, FOR FREE! We are confident moms will love our food. On Saturday afternoons we invite moms to come and freely sample a variety of postpartum soups and desserts. Real quality speaks for itself — please come taste the real thing.
Past Classes
In-Home Newborn Care Class:

Jingmommy partners with a U.S. registered nurse (also a Mommy Workshop instructor) to visit moms’ homes for one-on-one newborn care training. The class focuses primarily on newborn care, including umbilical cord care, breastfeeding, bathing a newborn, safe holding positions, SIDS prevention, and more. Correct postures and techniques are demonstrated in person, and moms can ask questions on the spot. Each session lasts approximately 45–60 minutes.
Infant First Aid Class:

According to the U.S. National Safety Council, accidental death and disability in young children exceeds all diseases combined. The target is to perform Basic Life Support within 4 minutes and Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 8 minutes to save lives in critical situations. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is a combination of external chest compressions and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation to maintain heartbeat and breathing. This course focuses on pediatric basic life support for infants under one year of age and young children. All instruction and practice follows American Heart Association (AHA) curriculum. Training time is two and a half hours, including hands-on practice and written and practical exams. The course is taught by an American Heart Association Pediatric First Aid certified / CPR licensed instructor.
Baby Massage Class:

Baby massage is an ancient form of human wisdom and a long-standing therapeutic practice. During natural birth, the fetus already receives a special massage through the pressure of the mother’s birth canal. Baby massage is also a form of “touch therapy” — a way for parents to bond with their baby through skin-to-skin contact. The skin is the body’s largest sensory organ, the earliest sense to develop, and the primary way infants receive information from the world. Extensive clinical research confirms that parental massage provides numerous developmental benefits for babies and is widely practiced worldwide. A gentle massage for your baby is not merely physical touch — it is also a transmission of love. The class is taught by a Certified Infant Massage Educator.
